Monroe Police

MONROE — No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 14th Avenue and 21st Street at 2:36 p.m. Tuesday, April 9. A vehicle driven by David L. Moore, 68, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old Monroe woman. Moore was cited for making an improper stop at a stop sign.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — On Wednesday, April 10:

●  A rollover crash with no injuries was reported at 1:04 p.m. in the N9300 block of Wis. 78, Town of York. Skye Kathy Ruth Hoffman, 18, Monroe, was southbound when she lost control of the vehicle. It left the road and overturned in a ditch, coming to rest on its roof. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed. Hoffman was cited for failure to keep a vehicle under control. New Glarus police assisted on scene.

●  A one-vehicle crash with no injuries was reported at 1:25 p.m. in the W3400 block of Middle Juda Road, Town of Jefferson. Cierra M. Stading, 20, Juda, was eastbound when she failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle entered the ditch and hit a tree. The vehicle sustained severe damage but was driven from the scene.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Monday, April 8:

●  Stephanie L. Beranek, 24, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 1:02 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington. No injuries were reported. The 2007 Ford sustained severe damage and was towed.

●  Minor injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 5:58 a.m. on River End Road, Town of Darlington. Denise K. Springer, 58, Darlington, was northbound when she failed to yield to a stop sign because of the fog. Her 2004 Dodge slid through the intersection and hit a guardrail. The vehicle was removed from the scene with moderate damage. The Darlington Fire Department and Green County EMS of Darlington assisted deputies at the scene.
