William Miller, age 69, died Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. He was born June 20, 1939 in Chicago, IL to Rowan and Cora Miller.

Bill graduated from Platteville High School in 1957 and entered the U.S, Marine Corps.

Bill married Joan Miller, December 5, 1959. They lived in Platteville until 1969 when they moved to Monroe. Bill owned Area Concrete, LTD until his illness.

He is survived by Joan and their children, Jodi Weissenfluh, Tina Koch, and Bret Miller (Brenda); grandchildren, Jessica (Scott) Klarer, Kimberly Weissenfluh, Brickson and Abby Schwenn, Mitch and Cassie Koch, Jeanna and Jaylee Miller; great-grandsons, Fisher and Trevor Klarer; brother, James (Janice) Miller, Stoughton, WI; brother-in-law, Robert (Judi) of Aurora, IL; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son, Bart.

A "Celebration of Life" will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at the VFW, 1428 17th St. Monroe, WI. A toast to Bill will be at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to The Apostolate to the Handicap.
