Vivian L. Rufer 86 of rural Monticello, Wisconsin died on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at her home. She was born on January 10, 1926 at Columbus, Wisconsin the daughter of Henry and Laura (Liebenthal) Moll and graduated from Columbus High School.

Vivian and Merlyn Rufer were married on January 10, 1963 and they were co-owners of Washington Mill, rural Monticello. Vivian was a member of Zwingli United Church of Christ in Monticello, the Ruth Circle, and the Ladies Aid.

She is survived by her son, Richard (Marcia Garrison) Rufer of Monticello; grandchildren, Christopher (April) Caldwell & Crystal (Harlen) Jinkerson; great- granddaughter, Haley Jinkerson; and sister-in-law, Darlyne Graber all of Monroe.

She is predeceased by her parents; husbands, Hugh Caldwell & Merlyn Rufer; son, Curtis Caldwell; and brother, Oscar Moll.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Zwingli United Church of Christ in Monticello with Rev. Lawrence Balleine officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery in Monticello.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Drive & N. 18th Avenue in Monroe, WI.

A Memorial Fund is being established in Vivian's memory.
