Valerie J. Marshall age 59, of Monroe, died on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. She was born on September 2, 1952 in Fairfield, California the daughter of Wilmer and Jean (Snyder) Ogle. Valerie was a graduate of Oak Ridge High School in Orlando, Florida. Valerie and David Marshall were married on November 5, 2007 in Panama City, Florida. She was employed with the Sun Bank and most recently Walmart in Orlando, Florida.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church and enjoyed doing needlework and genealogy.

She is survived by her husband David of Monroe; mother, Jean Ogle of Monroe; son, Johnny Ray Mcaulay of Orlando, FL; step-children: David Marshall of Janesville, Melissa Marshall of Brodhead, Michelle Marshall of Freeport, IL; Leesa Marshall of Monroe, Matthew Marshall of Monroe; 9 grandchildren; a brother, Richard Ogle of Orlando, FL; sister, Cheryl (Martin) Eserbach of Orlando, FL.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 20, 2012 at the Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home, with Pastor Matthew Spoonhour officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

A visitation will be on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. A memorial fund is being established in Valerie's memory.
