NEW GLARUS - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about midnight Saturday on Wisconsin 69 at Lake Avenue, Monticello. Police report Blaine E. Oxenreider, 38, Monroe, was southbound when he drove off the road and crashed in the creek. The vehicle received severe damage. Oxenreider was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. New Glarus Police assisted Monticello at the scene.
A vehicle driven by Merlyn J. Foat, 58, Freeport, Ill., collided with a deer at about 5:45 p.m. Sunday on Wisconsin 69, near Wis. 92. The vehicle received severe damage and was towed. Police assisted Dane County Sheriff's Department at the scene.

MONROE - Three persons were injured in a one-vehicle rollover crash at about 5 p.m. Thursday in the W6700 block of Wis. 39 in the Town of New Glarus. Deputies report Steve A. Freeman, 47, Beloit, was eastbound on Wisconsin 39, when a deer entered the roadway. Freeman swerved in an attempt to miss the deer, but entered the south ditch line and struck the deer. The vehicle continued in the ditch for several feet, before Freeman attempted to enter the roadway again. The vehicle then rolled several times, coming to rest on the driver's side. Two passengers in the vehicle, Seth A. Freeman, 23, and a 17-year-old male, both of Beloit, were able to exit the vehicle. Freeman was trapped and had to be extricated from the vehicle. All three occupants were transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. The vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene. New Glarus Police, New Glarus Fire, New Glarus EMS, Belleville EMS and Fitch Rona EMS also responded to the scene.
One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 1:45 a.m. Saturday in the N5200 of Feldt Road in Mt. Pleasant Township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Brandon A Butenhoff, 29, Monroe, lost control of his vehicle and collided with a bridge. Butenhoff was transported by the Green County EMS to the Monroe Clinic Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. The vehicle received severe damages and was towed from the scene. Butenhoff was cited for failure to wear safety belt and was released pending court. The Monticello Fire Department also responded.
One person was injured in a vehicle-deer crash at about 4:45 p.m. Thursday in the N3900 block of County S in the Town of Sylvester. Deputies report Justin H. Altmann, 41, Albany, was northbound when a deer collided with his vehicle. Altmann was injured as a result of the crash, but declined medical attention at the scene. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 8:15 p.m. Saturday on Carnie Road, at VanMatre Lane, in the Town of Monroe. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Jakaya M. Quire, 16, South Wayne, was westbound on VanMatre Lane, attempting to turn northbound onto Carnie Road. Quire was going too fast to make the corner and traveled into a yard. While Quire was returning to the road, she struck a ditch, disabling the vehicle.
Nick W. Duerst, 43, Monticello, was eastbound when a deer collided with his vehicle at about 12:15 p.m. Saturday on County EE, west of Norwegian Road, in the Town of Albany. The vehicle received moderated damages and was driven from the scene.
Ronald G Keepers, 55, Albany, was southbound when a deer collided with his vehicle at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday on County E, south of County EE, in the Town of Albany. The vehicle received moderate damages and was driven from the scene.
Michael A. Nelson, 42, Monticello, was traveling on Hefty Road when a deer collided with his vehicle at about 5:15 p.m. Saturday on Hefty Road, near County N, in Washington Township. The truck received minor damage and was driven from the scene.
Paul D. Blakeman, 69, Janesville, was westbound when a deer collided with his vehicle at about 6 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 11, near Allen Road, in the town of Cadiz. The vehicle received severe damage and was driven from the scene.
Danny M. Krattiger, 59, Monroe, was westbound on Wis. 11 when a deer collided with his vehicle at about 5:45 a.m. Friday on Wis. 11, west of County N, in the Town of Monroe. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
Shelby L. Ward, 62, Juda, was westbound when a deer collided with her vehicle at about 6:15 a.m. Friday on Wis. 11, west of Hartwig Road, in the Town of Sylvester. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
Corrine A. Sparby, 60, Belleville, was northbound when a deer collided with her vehicle at about 5:45 p.m. Friday on Wis. 69, near Sandrock Road, in the Town of New Glarus. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
A vehicle driven by Burnette L. Burkhalter, 82, Browntown, collided with a deer on Friday evening on Cemetery Road, near Wis. 69, in the Town of Mt. Pleasant. Deputies were called to investigate at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday. The vehicle received moderate damages and was driven from the scene.
Tiffany M. Holden, 28, Stockton, Ill., was northbound on Wis. 69 when a deer collided with her vehicle at about 9 p.m. Friday on Wis. 69, near Franklin Road, in the Town of Clarno. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
Joshua Allen, 23, Argyle, was westbound when a turkey flew across the roadway and struck his windshield at about 1:30 p.m. Saturday on County C, near Wildlife Road, in Adams Township. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
