Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 4:15 p.m. Tuesday on Wisconsin 104 and Bump Road in Albany township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Kip E. Hansberry, 33, Beloit, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Cassandra K. Mauerman, 43, Albany. Hansberry told deputies he didn't notice Mauerman's vehicle was slowing down. Hansberry was cited for inattentive driving. The vehicles received moderate damage. Hansberry's vehicle was towed.

Deputies are investigating a hit-and-run which was reported at about 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Shopko parking lot in Monroe. Deputies report a vehicle owned by Antonia B. Stitz, 43, Monticello, was hit by an unknown vehicle causing moderate damage. The case was turned over to the Monroe Police Department.

A vehicle driven by Robert D. Saalsaa, 41, Argyle, hit a tree in the road at about 1:45 a.m. Tuesday in the N8200 block of Paddledock Road in Adams township. The vehicle received moderate damages.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - A vehicle driven by Susan J. Nethery, 61, Gratiot, hit several large rocks that tumbled onto the road due to high winds at about 8:30 a.m. on Wisconsin 81 in Darlington township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

A vehicle driven by William J. Ruf, 50, Darlington, collided with a deer at about 7 a.m. Tuesday on County F in Fayette township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

A vehicle driven by Mike S. Berget, 58, Darlington, collided with a deer at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on Wis. 78 in Wiota township.
