MONROE - Injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 2:26 a.m. Thursday on Wisconsin 69, north of Hefty Road, in the Town of Washington. Reports indicate that Jarrod S. Kennedy, 43, Monticello, was southbound on Wis. 69 when he failed to negotiate a curve. Kennedy entered the west ditch, then overcorrected, came across the roadway and entered the east ditch which caused the vehicle to overturn on its side. Kennedy was transported by Green County EMS to Monroe Clinic Hospital for injuries he sustained in the crash. The vehicle had minor damage and was towed from the scene. Kennedy was arrested for a third offense of driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated and was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle and driving a motor vehicle without insurance. Kennedy was jailed.

• No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 2:26 a.m. Thursday on County C, near Thoman Road, in the Town of Washington. Reports indicate that Derek J. McGowan, 21, Monticello, was driving westbound on County C when he hit a deer. The vehicle had moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• Green County Sheriff's deputies were called to investigate a report of a hit-and-run crash that occurred at 5:51 a.m. Sept. 18 in the W6600 Block of Patterson Road in the Town of Clarno. Reports indicate that Robert T. Alexander, 22, South Wayne, was westbound on Patterson Road when the vehicle he was driving left the roadway and hit a fence owned by Delbert E. Rosentiel, 68, Monroe. Alexander fled the scene in the vehicle without reporting the crash. The vehicle had severe damage. Alexander was cited for knowingly operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license causing property damage, inattentive driving, failure to report a crash to police, and hit-and-run of property adjacent to highway. He was released.
