Green County Sheriff

MONROE - A vehicle driven by Stewart L. Strait, 69, Monroe, hit a deer at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday on Wisconsin 11 at County KS. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Pauline R. Ihus, 66, Blanchardville, hit a deer at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday on County C east of Jordan Center Road. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Randall Butts, 45, Browntown, hit a cow at about 11:15 p.m. Friday in the W3700 block of County M. The vehicle received moderate damage. The cow was put down by a deputy.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in an all-terrain vehicle accident at about 3 a.m. Friday on Mound Avenue in Belmont. James G. Garvey, 52, Belmont, was cited for driving an ATV while intoxicated. Belmont Ambulance and Belmont Fire Department assisted at the scene.

• Victor Mendoza, 33, Platteville, was arrested for drunken driving, driving without a license and inattentive driving following a report of a vehicle in a ditch at about 2:45 a.m. Sunday on Wis. 81 in Darlington township. He was released pending court. His vehicle was towed.

• A parked vehicle owned by Nicole A. Ruch, 28, Platteville, was hit by an unknown vehicle at about 6 p.m. Sunday on County XX in Belmont township. He vehicle received minor damage.

• A vehicle driven by Jennifer S. Mulcahy, 26, Middleton, hit a deer at about 7:30 a.m. Friday on Wis. 23 in Darlington township.

• A vehicle driven by John C. McDaniel, 67, Darlington, hit a deer at about 9 a.m. Saturday on Wis. 23 in Darlington township.
