DARLINGTON - No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident on Wisconsin 11 in the Town of Gratiot at 3:47 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1. Trevor J. Thuli, 19, Darlington, was westbound in a 1995 Acura when he lost control and hit a guardrail. The car was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

- Deputies are still investigating a hit-and-run accident on County H in the Town of Blanchard, reported at 7:57 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 2. A 2007 Chevrolet pickup truck was westbound when the driver failed to negotiate a curve. The truck veered off the road, side-swiped a utility pole and came to rest in the ditch. The driver fled. The truck's owner, David Stampfli, Sr., 48, Blanchardville, reported discovering the truck as he traveled through the area on his way to a worksite. The truck was extensively damaged and towed.
