Monroe Police

MONROE - No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 10:24 p.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of Wisconsin 69. A vehicle driven by Caleb Morhardt, 18, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Courtney Wilcox, 22, Monroe. The vehicles sustained minor to moderate damage. Morhardt was cited for failure to yield right-of-way.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - A hit-and-run accident was reported at 5:02 a.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of Grande Cheese, N2607 County S, Town of Sylvester. Tyler N. Simplot, 32, Brodhead, advised that his vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle while parked in the lot. The vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the crash and sustained minor front-end damage. It was driven from the scene. White paint transfer was located on the front driver's side bumper, but nothing further was located to identify the suspect vehicle. There were no reported witnesses.
