DARLINGTON - On Thursday, Sept. 17:
• No injuries were reported at 2:24 p.m. after James Kearns, 76, Platteville, was exiting his driveway on Mound View Road, Town of Belmont, and the brakes gave out on his 1999 GMC, causing him to cross the road and hit a tree on the other side. The GMC had minor damage and was towed.
• No injuries were reported in a cow vs. car accident at 8:37 p.m. on Truman Road, Town of Kendall. Robert Crist, 69, Darlington, was southbound when he struck a cow with his 2003 Buick. The car sustained minor damage.
