DARLINGTON - On Thursday, Sept. 10:
• Sibylle S. Townsend, 44, Scales Mound, Ill., struck a cow at 4:48 a.m. on County O, Town of White Oak Springs. There were no injuries, and the vehicle sustained minor damage.
• William E. Edwards, 25, Stockton, Ill., drifted over the center line while southbound around 11:45 a.m. on Wisconsin 78, Town of Gratiot. He then veered into the northbound ditch line and struck the ditch. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed by Humphrey's Towing and Transport. Gratiot First Response, Gratiot Fire, Rural Medical Ambulance and deputies responded to the scene.
