New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash reported at 3:36 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, on Industrial Drive. Jerry M. Graves, 68, Monroe, was backing up a Veolia garbage truck when it struck a parked vehicle belonging to Matthew Hancock. The Veolia truck was undamaged. Hancock's vehicle was moderately damaged.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Dean F. Kaster, 58, Browntown, was transported to the Monroe Clinic ER for injuries he sustained in a truck accident reported at 10:53 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, on County HK at Bartelt Road in the Town of Cadiz. Kaster was southbound on County HK and turning left onto Bartelt Road when he lost control of the grain truck he was driving. The truck, which was loaded with brewer's grain, was moderately damaged and towed. The Monroe and Browntown fire departments, Monroe EMS and Wisconsin State Patrol assisted at the scene.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Rita R. Moen, 71, Blanchardville, reported at 9:04 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, that she hit a deer on Old Q Road in the Town of Blanchard.

- Sheila M. Bredeson, 42, Darlington, reported at 7:49 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, that she hit a deer on Wisconsin 11 in the Town of Gratiot.
