Monroe Police

MONROE - One was injured in an accident at about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 1700 block of 15th Avenue. Police report Robert F. Torregrossa, 70, Monroe, collided with a legally parked vehicle owned by Michael P. Leck, Monroe. Torregrossa declined medical treatment. He was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant and released pending court. Both vehicles received minor damage.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No one was injured an a two-vehicle accident at about 12:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of East South Street. Deputies report Bruce M. Trumble, 17, Browntown, was distracted by a bee in his vehicle. His vehicle traveled left of center and struck a vehicle operated by Clayton C. Campbell, 61, Monroe. Trumble's vehicle received minor damage; Campbell's vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene. Trumble was cited for operating while suspended.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - A vehicle driven by Dustin K. Leeser, 37, Benton, hit a deer at about 7 p.m. Tuesday on Kennedy Road in Benton township. The vehicle received moderate damage.
