Green County SheriffMONROE - Injuries were reported during a motorcycle accident at 12:56 p.m. Saturday on Benkert Road, north of Aebly Road, in the Town of Monroe. Reports indicate that Thomas R. Thompson, 69, of Rockford, Ill., was traveling northbound on Benkert Road when Thompson lost control on pea gravel while attempting to negotiate a curve. Thompson's cycle went down on its side and Thompson was ejected from the motorcycle.
