MONROE - On Tuesday:

• Carlos R. Hernandez, 53, Freeport, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the W6800 block of County B, Town of Clarno, at 2:20 a.m. Hernandez was eastbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on Wisconsin 11/81, Spring Grove Township, at 8:07 a.m. Yorham Behiri, 45, Summit, N.J., was eastbound on Wis. 11 when a vehicle in front of him stopped, attempting to turn left. Behiri began to pass the vehicle on the right when an eastbound semi-truck unit driven by Mike D. Kast, 36, West Salem, hit the back end of Behiri's vehicle. Both vehicles were moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

• Theresa M. Dinges, 27, Monroe, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred on Wisconsin 59 near Meyers Road, Town of Sylvester, at 8:07 p.m. Dinges was westbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit her vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene.

• The driver of a vehicle involved in an accident on Sunday on County E at Atkinson Road, Town of Albany, turned himself in Tuesday. Ryan A. McCarville, 25, Brodhead, reported he fell asleep while eastbound on County E, and the vehicle hit sign posts and an embankment on the Sugar River recreational trail, where the vehicle came to rest. McCarville had fled the scene up the trail and was eventually picked up by a vehicle. McCarville reported he was on his way back from a wedding and sustained injuries in the crash, but did not seek medical attention. He was cited for failure to notify law enforcement of an accident and inattentive driving. He was released pending court. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene on Sunday.
