Monroe Police

MONROE - One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 8 a.m. Wednesday at Wisconsin 69 near 11th Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Robert Hauri, 84, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Michael Siedschlag, 60, Orangeville, Ill., Hauri was taken to the Monroe Clinic for non-life threatening injuries. He was cited for unreasonable speed. Siedschlag was also cited for failure to yield from a stop sign.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday on West 7th Street and 6th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Donald L. Rowe, 78, Apple River, Ill., collided with a vehicle driven by Evelyn M. Menzel, 73, Brodhead. The vehicles received moderate damage.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 8 a.m. Thursday on Wis. 39 in New Glarus township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Amy C. Goecks, 36, Blanchardville, crossed the center line and hit a vehicle driven by Russell J. Moser, 60, New Glarus. Goecks was taken to the University of Wisconsin Hospital for injuries. Her vehicle received moderate damage and was towed. Moser's vehicle received minor damage.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday on Greenbush Road in Sylvester township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Robert M. Knudtson, 57, Monroe, pulled out of a driveway and collided with a vehicle driven by Karena M. Curtis, 37, Monroe. The vehicle received extensive damage and were towed.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 2:15 p.m. Wednesday on Otter Creek Road in Darlington township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by David Badertcher, 17, Darlington, swerved to avoid animals in the road, left the road and overturned. He sustained minor injuries. His vehicle was towed from the scene.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 1 p.m. Thursday on County W in New Diggings township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Ralph Hessling, 77, Hazel Green, was performing a turning maneuver and failed to yield for a vehicle driven by William Mowry, 57, Hazel Green. Hessling was cited for failure to yield the right of way.

• A vehicle driven by Thomas Hackl, 46, Shullsburg, hit a deer at about 4:45 a.m. Wednesday on County Q in New Diggins township.

• A vehicle driven by Christopher Wurtzbacher, 35, Shullsburg, hit a deer at about 6:45 a.m. Wednesday on County U in Shullsburg township.
