MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle rollover at about at about 8 p.m. Wednesday on Wisconsin 11, east of County OK in the Town of Spring Grove. Deputies report Martinez Margarito Sarmiento, 43, Monroe, lost control of his vehicle which entered the south gravel shoulder, then skidded across the highway, entered the north ditch line and overturned a couple of times before coming to rest on its roof. Margarito Sarmiento was transported for an injury to Monroe Clinic Hospital by Monroe EMS. The vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene. Margarito Sarmiento was cited for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, first offense; failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle; operating left of center line; and operating a motor vehicle without a valid drivers license. Margarito Sarmiento was released pending court. Juda Fire Department and Brodhead Police Department assisted at the scene.

• Tina L. Andrews, 28, Monroe, collided with a deer at about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday on County J in the N3900 block, Town of Monroe. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Virginia M. Holland, 50, Scales Mound, Ill., reported striking a deer at about 5:45 a.m. Wednesday on White Oak Cemetery Road in Monticello township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• Dustin J. Kubbervig, 29, Platteville, reported striking a deer at about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday on Big Cut Road in Shullsburg township. The vehicle received moderate damage.
