Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Friday:

• Todd A. Gilbertson, 48, Belleville, and his passenger were uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred in the N9400 block of Wisconsin 92, Town of Exeter, at 6:45 a.m. Gilbertson was northbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene.

• Susan L. Gerloff, 60, Winslow, Ill., was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the N200 block of County HK, Town of Cadiz, at 7:01 a.m. Gerloff was northbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit her vehicle. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• Lance T. Altman, 44, New Glarus, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred in the W5800 block of County NN Town of New Glarus, at 8:11 p.m. Altman was westbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. Altman's vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

On Sunday:

• No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle rollover crash in the N3700 block of Wisconsin 59, Town of Sylvester, at 5 a.m. Brennan Zachary Bloedel, 17, rural Evansville, was southbound when the passenger-side tires of his vehicle entered the west shoulder. Bloedel attempted to correct the vehicle and lost control, causing the vehicle to spin counter-clockwise as it slid across the roadway. The vehicle entered the east ditch and overturned once coming to rest on its wheels. Bloedel and his passenger were uninjured. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene.

• Susan C. Leston, 67, Villa Park, Ill., was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident in the N9300 block of County O, Town of New Glarus, at 6:18 a.m. Leston was southbound when her vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and traveled into the gravel shoulder. Leston attempted to correct the vehicle and crossed both lanes of traffic and into the ditch where the vehicle hit several small trees, coming to rest. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene.

• John M. Summers, 53, Albany, and his passenger were uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred in the N6400 block of County E, Town of Albany, at 6:52 p.m. Summers was southbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Scott A. Neuenschwander, 46, South Wayne, was arrested at 3:15 p.m. Friday for driving while intoxicated and disorderly conduct after his vehicle damaged property on East Prospect Street, Village of South Wayne. Neuenschwander was also cited for failure to notify law enforcement of an accident and hit-and-run. He was transported to the Lafayette County jail, posted bond and was released to a responsible party.

On Saturday:

• One person received non-life-threatening injuries in a one-Utility Terrain Vehicle rollover accident on Brush Road, Blanchard Township. Kipp M. Anderson, 22, Davenport, Iowa, was southbound on Brush Road when his UTV rolled over on a curve. A passenger, Jeremy T. Ramsen, 26, Camanche, Iowa, was injured in the crash. Anderson was cited at 3:31 p.m. for driving a UTV in a careless manner. Blanchardville Fire Department and Blanchardville Ambulance assisted at the scene.

• Kayla L. Barnes, 24, Blanchardville, reported hitting a deer with her vehicle at 7:37 p.m. on Wisconsin 81, Lamont Township.

• Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle accident on Wisconsin 11, Wayne Township, at 2:14 a.m. Sunday. Upon arrival no one was around the vehicle. The accident remains under investigation.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Arnold W. Kehrli, 97, New Glarus, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash near Roy's Market in the 600 block of Wis. 69, at 6:48 p.m. Thursday. Kehrli was driving his 1998 Ford Taurus when the vehicle crashed into a ditch landing on its side. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed from the ditch.
