MONROE - On Thursday:

• Lisa M. Poprawski, 50, Browntown, was uninjured in a deer vs. car crash that occurred in the W4700 block of Wisconsin 11, Town of Sylvester, at 5:41 a.m. Poprawski was westbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit her car. The car sustained moderate to severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• Geoffrey J. Stout, 54, rural Argyle, was uninjured after he reported his vehicle was run off the roadway by another vehicle in the N6000 block of Biggs Road, Town of Adams, at 2:01 p.m. Stout was southbound when an unidentified northbound vehicle reportedly ran his van off the roadway. The van went into the embankment and hit a ditch. The van was moderately damaged and towed from the scene.

• Kristie J. Sweeney, 25, Brodhead, was uninjured in a raccoon vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the N4500 block of County F, Decatur Township, at 9:22 p.m. Sweeney was southbound when a raccoon ran into the roadway and hit her vehicle. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Two people sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Wisconsin 81, Darlington Township, at 3:42 p.m. Thursday. Daniel G. Fairchild, 71, Platteville, was westbound when his vehicle crossed the center line and continued into the ditch. The vehicle hit a culvert, went airborne traveling a few feet before coming to rest in the ditch. The vehicle sustained damage and was towed from the scene. Fairchild and a juvenile passenger sustained injuries and were tended to by Rural Medical Ambulance at the scene.
