DARLINGTON - On Tuesday:
Benjamin E. Graham, 25, Darlington, was uninjured in a one-truck accident on Wisconsin 81, Darlington Township, at 6:49 a.m. Graham lost control of his vehicle due to the icy road conditions and slid into the ditch causing damage to his truck. The truck was towed from the scene.
Kyle R. McGeough, 27, Dubuque, Iowa, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident on County W, Benton Township, at 10:30 a.m. McGeough was eastbound when his vehicle spun around on the roadway and slid into the ditch. The vehicle sustained damage and was towed from the scene.
Two people received non-life-threatening injuries in a truck vs. tractor crash on Wis. 81, Darlington Township, at 5:35 p.m. Valentine Martinez-Perez, 25, Darlington, was westbound when his tractor was rear-ended by a truck driven by Joseph G. Wiegel, 72, Darlington. Martinez-Perez's tractor overturned causing severe damage to the tractor. Wiegel's truck also sustained severe damage and both vehicles were towed from the scene. Martinez-Perez and Wiegel were transported to Lafayette County Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Rural Medical Ambulance and Darlington Fire Department assisted at the scene. The accident caused the section of Wis. 81 to be shut down for about two hours.
