MONROE POLICE

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 5 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Wisconsin 69 and 8th Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Luke Molinaro, 16, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Melissa A. Brockman, 27, Monroe. Molinaro was cited for failure to yield the right of way.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Wis. 69 and 8th Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Michael A. Place, 19, South Wayne, collided with a vehicle driven by Jessica L. Hendrickson, 16, Monroe. Place was cited for failure to yield the right of way.

GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 10:45 a.m. Thursday at Wis. 69 and County C in the Town of Washington Township. Deputies report Brandon T. Holz, 48, Monticello was stopped on Wis. 69 to make a turn onto County C when he was rear ended by a vehicle driven by Christopher R. Dearth, 30, Monroe. Hole's pickup truck received minor damage to the rear end and was driven from the scene. Dearth's vehicle received severe damaged and was towed from the scene. Dearth will be cited for inattentive driving. The Monticello Police Department also responded.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 11 p.m. Wednesday at the south intersection of County C at County J in the Town of Adams for a traffic crash. Deputies report David A. Romstad, 64, Janesville, was eastbound when he failed to stop for the stop sign. His vehicle slid through the intersection and struck an embankment. The vehicle received severe front-end damage and was towed from the scene.

• Deputies located a motor vehicle, at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday in the W5900 block of Wis. 39 in the Town of New Glarus, which was involved in a traffic crash and the driver fled the scene. The vehicle was impounded. The incident remains under investigation.

• A vehicle driven by Donald W Schewe, 67, Monroe, struck a deer at about 5 p.m. Thursday on County O at Primrose Center Road in the Town of New Glarus. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• A vehicle driven by Kathleen A. Larsen, 57, Brodhead, collided with a deer at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the N5700 block of Wis. 104 in the town of Albany. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
