GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday on County C east of County E in the Town of Brooklyn. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Kenneth J. Fager, 19, rural Monroe was westbound when he lost control of his car. Fager's car left the north side of the highway and sideswiped a guardrail. The vehicle received moderate damages. The guardrail was not damaged.

• One person sustained minor injuries in a vehicle-deer accident at about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday in the N6800 Block of Wisconsin 104 in Albany township. A vehicle driven by Rachael A. Renner, 20, Belleville, collided with a deer. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• One person was injured in a one-vehicle rollover crash at about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday on Wis. 11 east of County OK in Spring Grove township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Elizabeth A. Wilson, 45, Brodhead, was traveling eastbound on Wis. 11 when a vehicle in front of her braked for a deer in the highway. Wilson swerved to miss the vehicle and the deer and entered the ditch. The vehicle overturned, coming to a rest on its roof. Wilson sustained minor injuries in the crash. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• A vehicle driven by Delivyn M. Brandenburg, 76, Monroe, collided with a deer at about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday in the W7800 Block on Wis. 11 near Ullom Road in Cadiz township. The vehicle received minor damages.

n A vehicle driven by Joseph H. Hardyman, 45, Browntown, collided with a deer at approximately 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the W7800 Block of Wis. 11 in the Town of Cadiz. The vehicle received minor damages.

• One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday on Wis. 69 near Washington Road. Deputies reported Stanley F. Sapp, 63, Friendship, was operating a semi tractor unit northbound, crossed over the centerline and drove into the ditch on the west side of the road. The unit struck a driveway, a culvert and came to rest at an angle. Sapp sustained injuries and was transported to an area hospital. The tractor-trailer unit received severe damage to the undercarriage and was towed from the scene. The Green County Sheriff Deputies, Wisconsin State Patrol, Monticello fire, Monroe EMS, and the Wisconsin DNR investigated. The incident remains under investigation by Wis. State Patrol.

• A vehicle driven by Raymond O. Dunlap, 53, Monticello, collided with a deer at about 7 p.m. Tuesday in the N7800 of Wis. 69. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Christine A. Stewart, 56, Browntown, collided with a deer at about 7:15 p.m. Tuesday on Lincicum Road west of West River Road in the Town of Cadiz. Stewart and her passenger Patrick A. Mahoney, 15, Browntown, were uninjured. The vehicle sustained moderate front passenger side damage.

MONROE POLICE

MONROE - One person sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident at about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of 17th Avenue and 21st Street. A vehicle driven by Eric D. Pilgrim, 54, Monroe, struck a vehicle driven by Aaron M. Krattiger, 18, Monroe. Pilgrim complained of minor injuries, but refused medical attention. The vehicles received no damage.

• Two persons were transported for non-life threatening injuries after a three-vehicle accident at about 1 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of 23rd Street and 16th Avenue. A vehicle driven by Carole D. Myers, 45, Monroe, struck a vehicle driven by Leobardo Virrueta, Elkhorn. Myers' vehicle then struck an unoccupied parked vehicle owned by Cynthia J. Kurth, Monroe. Myer's was cited for failing to yield right of way from a stop sign.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on Buncombe Road in Benton township. A vehicle driven by Melvin E. Young, 78, Scales Mound, Ill., was eastbound when Young lost control due to icy conditions. The vehicle slid into an unoccupied parked car owned by Wilfred Schuler, Hazel Green. Both vehicles received moderate damage.
