BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - No injuries were reported at 10:50 a.m. Thursday after police responded to a report of a traffic accident in the 800 block of East Exchange Street.



MONROE POLICE

MONROE - On Friday:

• A Brodhead woman reported possible injuries at 8:26 p.m. after a two-vehicle accident at the interchange between Wisconsin 11 and Wis. 69. Joshua P. Lapin, 35, Monroe, struck a vehicle driven by a 48-year-old Brodhead woman who was stopped in front of him. Lapin was cited for inattentive driving.

• No injuries were reported at 4:58 p.m. after a two-vehicle collision in the 800 block of First Avenue. Dario M. Mendez-Gabriel, 21, Monroe, struck a vehicle driven by a 41-year-old South Wayne man who was stopped in front of him. Mendez-Gabriel was cited for driving without a valid license.



NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - On Thursday, no injuries were reported at 6:08 p.m. after a vehicle struck a deer in the 1000 block of 6th Avenue. The vehicle was driven from the scene.

On Friday, no injuries were reported at 4:35 p.m. after a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Wis. 69 and Coates Avenue. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

On Saturday:

• A vehicle in a ditch was reported at 12:28 p.m. at the intersection of County H and Zentner Road.

• A vehicle in a ditch was reported at 12:36 p.m. in the W6400 block of County H.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday:

• A driver and a passenger were injured at 5:18 p.m. after a vehicle struck a guardrail at the interchange between Wis. 69 and Wis. 11, Town of Monroe. A 15-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle on the snow-covered road and struck the guardrail, suffering minor injuries along with his passenger, Michael R. Patterson, 35, Monroe. The driver and Patterson declined medical attention. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 7:05 p.m. after Merri L. Foht, 50, Monroe, struck an embankment in the W6500 block of Wis. 11, Town of Monroe, after losing control of her vehicle on the snow-covered road. Her vehicle

sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

On Saturday:

• No injuries were reported at 7:29 a.m. after Ernest M. Allen, 63, Browntown, struck a parked vehicle in the W7800 block of Franklin Road, Town of Cadiz, while plowing snow. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 8:57 a.m. after two snowplows, one driven by George S. Crooks, 73, Brodhead, and the other by Daniel L. Ritchard, 51, Monroe, collided at the intersection of County E and Myrt Lane, Town of Decatur. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 9:04 a.m. after Jeremy S. Way, 23, Mount Horeb, slid into a bridge in the N9500 block of Hustad Valley Road, New Glarus. His vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 11:39 a.m. after Daniel N. Sullivan, 65, Belleville, lost control of his vehicle and drove into a ditch in the N6600 block of County D, Town of Mount Pleasant. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 12:38 p.m. after Mark A. Baker, 52, Orangeville, Ill., was run off the road in the W4900 block of Town Center Road, Town of Clarno, and struck a mailbox. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 1:29 p.m. after Ryan L. Nath, 56, Orangeville, Ill., lost control of his vehicle and struck an embankment in the N1100 block of Wis. 69, Town of Clarno. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

On Sunday:

• No injuries were reported at 12:10 a.m. after Erin J. Kleeman, 37, New Glarus, struck a deer in the N3600 block of Wis. 69, Town of Monroe. Her vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• A motorist was injured at 1:24 p.m. after a one-vehicle rollover accident in the W2700 block of Wis. 59, Town of Sylvester. Dennis W. Stuckey, 68, Monroe, lost control of his vehicle due to an icy roadway and rolled over after skidding into a ditch. Stuckey was transported to a local hospital. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 7:35 p.m. after Alison J. Zimmerman, 31, New Glarus, struck a deer in the W7900 block of Wis. 39, Town of York. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 7:36 p.m. after Morgan D. Godfrey, 16, Argyle, struck a deer in the N6100 block of County A, Town of Adams. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 9:29 p.m. after a one-vehicle rollover accident in the N700 block of County T, Town of Spring Grove. Joshua A. Smith, 35, South Beloit, Ill., lost control of his vehicle on the icy roadway and skidded into a ditch before rolling down a steep embankment and into a creek. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• No injuries were reported at 9:05 a.m. after Mark J. Kuhlmyer, 44, South Wayne, struck a deer on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. His vehicle sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported at 6:23 p.m. after Jodi L. Cahill, 38, Marion, Iowa, lost control of her vehicle on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 6:39 p.m. after a two-vehicle accident on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne. Eugene C. Mosconi, 38, Warren, Ill., lost control of his vehicle and struck the side of an oncoming vehicle driven by Rodney E. Stewart, 45, South Wayne. Mosconi left the scene immediately after the accident. Stewart's vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• Two drivers were injured at 6:39 p.m. after a head-on collision on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove. Harlan J. Hanson, 61, Darlington, crossed the centerline and struck a vehicle driven by Deborah K. Symons, 57, Benton. Both drivers were transported by EMS to a local hospital. Both vehicles sustained severe damage and were towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 7:56 p.m. after Dayna K. McCauley, 29, Chicago, slid into a ditch and struck a fence on County W, Town of White Oak. Her vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 8:29 p.m. after Domingo Canales, 37, Pooler, Ga., slid into a ditch on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont, when his trailer jackknifed. His vehicle and trailer sustained moderate damage and were towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 10:15 p.m. after Marc L. Christensen, 45, Mineral Point, slid into a ditch on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. His vehicle sustained minor damage.

On Sunday:

• Joshua M. Hiatt, 30, Shullsburg , was cited at 2:16 a.m. for failure to maintain control of his vehicle after a deputy investigated his unattended vehicle in a ditch on County W, Town of Monticello.

• Luis Alberto-Ortiz, 34, Darlington, was cited at 5:33 a.m. for failure to notify police of an accident, driving without a license and without vehicle insurance after a hit-and-run accident on County M, Town of Wiota.

• No injuries were reported at 8:16 p.m. after Laverne Russell, 33, Mineral Point, struck a deer on Landon Road, Town of Kendall. Her vehicle sustained minor damage.
