Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Monday:

• A hit-and-run was reported at 12:34 p.m. in the area of County J and Wisconsin 81 in Monroe. An investigation revealed a maroon over gray Subaru station wagon, or similar style vehicle, struck a guardrail and immediately backed up. The station wagon then backed into a vehicle driven by Joey A. Eads, 47, Monroe. Eads was uninjured and his vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene. The station wagon reportedly fled the scene westbound on Wis. 81. It should have severe front-end damage and the hood should be bent upward. Anyone with information should contact the sheriff's office.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Monday:

• Jesse J. Jansen, 34, Cuba City, was involved in a one-vehicle crash at 5:05 a.m. on Wis. 81 in Elk Grove Township. Jansen was cited for inattentive driving and failure to stop at a stop sign.

• No injuries were reported when Kenneth P. Ludlum, 59, Belmont, struck a deer at 5:27 p.m. on U.S. 151 in Belmont Township. Ludlum's 2007 Saturn sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported when Dianna J. Masbrush, 64, Darlington struck a deer at 5:10 p.m. on Wis. 81 in Seymour Township. Masbruch's 2017 Chevrolet Equinox sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported when Anthony L. Muhlstein, 49, Darlington struck a deer at 6:05 p.m. on Wis. 23 in Willow Springs Township. Muhlstein's 2013 Ford sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
