Traffic Accidents: Nov. 20, 2015

MONROE POLICE

MONROE - A hit-and-run accident was discovered at 3 a.m. in the 800 block of 20th Avenue. A vehicle had struck a power pole by the side of the road and left the scene. The offending vehicle was located in the 2000 block of 8th Street. The accident is still under investigation.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Wednesday:

• No injuries were reported at 7:20 a.m. after Ronald D. Kubly, 59, Monroe, struck a deer in the N7700 block of Wisconsin 69, Town of New Glarus. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 8:21 p.m. after Joyce E. Nethery, 75, Monroe, struck a raccoon in the W9000 block of Wis. 81, Town of Jordan. Her vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 9:50 p.m. after Michelle L. Piebe, 26, Browntown, struck a deer on Wis. 11, Town of Clarno. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:

• No injuries were reported at 5:50 p.m. after William T. Teutschmann, 60, Shullsburg, struck a deer on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. His vehicle sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported at 10:01 p.m. after Megan A. Jorenby, 32, Blanchardville, struck a deer on Wis. 78, Town of Wiota. Her vehicle sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported at 11 p.m. after Courtney E. Vogt, 22, Mount Horeb, swerved into a ditch to avoid striking a deer. Her vehicle sustained minor damage.
