MONROE - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday on 6th 1/2 Street and 32nd Avenue. Derek W. Riese, 24, Monroe, was driving a vehicle that hit a vehicle being driven by a 40-year-old man from Gratiot. Riese was cited at 4:58 a.m. for driving left of center and released pending court.

MONROE - On Tuesday:
A Lyndon Station woman was transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Madison for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries she sustained in a one-vehicle accident in the N9000 block of County O, Town of New Glarus, at 4:04 p.m. Maria L. Zabawa, 37, was northbound when she lost control of her vehicle, which entered the eastside ditch. The vehicle then continued through the ditch hitting a utility pole where it came to rest. Zabawa was transported to the hospital via New Glarus EMS and was cited for driving without insurance, driving with a suspended license and driving too fast for conditions. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene. New Glarus Fire Department, deputies and Alliant Energy assisted at the scene.
Joel D. Watkins, 53, Belleville, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the W2700 block of Pernot Road, Town of Exeter, at 6:36 p.m. Watkins was eastbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was driven from the scene.
Mary L. Chapman, 56, Belleville, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the N9400 block of Hughes Road, Town of Exeter, at 7:03 p.m. Chapman was westbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit her vehicle. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

A deputy responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident with minor damages at 3:45 p.m. on Hill Street, Village of Blanchardville.
Thomas Daly, 48, Darlington, reported hitting a deer with his vehicle on Otter Creek Road, Lamont Township, at 5:30 p.m.
Tricia Komprood, 44, Darlington, reported hitting a deer with her vehicle on Wisconsin 23, Willow Springs Township, at 9:28 p.m.
