LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Monday:

• No injuries were reported at 6:43 a.m. after Steven J. Humphrey, 57, Shullsburg, drove into a ditch after swerving to avoid a deer on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 7:08 a.m. after Steva M. Lehman, 20, South Wayne, struck a deer on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle. The vehicle sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported at 5:47 p.m. after Vivian L. Fluhr, 48, Benton, struck the vehicle of Elaine V. Lewis, 66, Benton, while attempting to enter a driveway on Galena Street in Benton. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 6:53 p.m. after Darrell L. Myers, 78, Cuba City, struck a deer on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington. His vehicle sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported at 8:46 p.m. after Morgan R. Emery, 17, Benton, struck a deer on Wis. 11, Town of New Diggings. His vehicle sustained minor damage.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Monday:

• No injuries were reported after Richard L. Seffrood, 54, Monticello, struck a deer in the W4200 block of Exeter Crossing Road, Town of Exeter.

• No injuries were reported after Mallory J. Duerst, 21, New Glarus, struck a deer in the W4900 block of County W, Town of New Glarus.

• No injuries were reported at 3:28 p.m. after the Hailey C. Matteson, 18, Belleville, struck the vehicle of Chelsea A. Martinson, 23, Brooklyn, when the former's brakes failed at the intersection of County D and Carla Drive, Town of Exeter. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage, while Martinson's vehicle needed to be towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported after a school bus vs. car accident at 3:41 p.m. in the W5000 block of Holcomb Lane, Town of Washington. Katelyn A. Thompson, 16, Monticello, backed into the bus, which was carrying 18 children and driven by Kim D. Tschudy, 70, New Glarus. Both the bus and vehicle sustained minor damage and were towed from the scene.
