MONROE - Tony J. Monahan, 54, Argyle, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred on Wisconsin 69 near Streiff Lane, Town of New Glarus, at 4:54 p.m. Friday. Monahan was southbound on Wis. 69 when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene.
On Saturday:
Kelby David Gunwall, 18, Belleville, sustained non life-threatening injuries in a one-vehicle accident in the N9300 block of County CC, Town of Exeter, at 4:36 p.m. Gunwall was northbound when she lost control of the vehicle due to the icy/snowy roadway and slid into the east ditch. The vehicle then traveled down an embankment where it overturned onto its roof. Gunwall sustained injuries but declined medical treatment. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene. Deputies, Belleville Fire Department and EMS responded to the scene.
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Wisconsin 104 and Amidon Road, Town of Brooklyn, at 5:58 p.m. Leslie R. Hanson, 49, Brooklyn, was eastbound on Amidon Road and stopped at a stop sign when a vehicle driven by Colin J. Dragone, 25, Brooklyn, rear-ended Hanson's vehicle. The Hanson vehicle was moderately damaged and was driven from the scene. Dragone's vehicle sustained no damage and was driven from the scene. Dragone was cited for driving after revocation, no insurance and driving too fast for conditions.
Sueanne L. Boyum, 34, Belleville, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident on Remy Road at Wisconsin 92, Town of Exeter, at 6:07 p.m. Boyum was southbound on Remy Road and attempted to stop at a stop sign but slid through the intersection at Wis. 92 due to the icy roadway. Boyum's vehicle hit a stop sign and a mailbox causing front-end and passenger side damage to her vehicle. The vehicle was driven from the scene.
Phyllis A. Hose, 48, Monroe, and her passenger were uninjured in a one-vehicle crash in the W2600 block of County C, Town of Mt. Pleasant, at 8:22 p.m. Hose was westbound when she lost control of her vehicle due to the icy roadway and the vehicle overturned onto the driver's side. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene.
Michael C. Lame, 37, Blanchardville, was uninjured in a one-car accident at the intersection of Loyalty Road and Emberson Lane, Town of York, at 8:37 p.m. Lame was northbound on Loyalty Road when he lost control of his car due to the icy roadway and the car hit a concrete bridge. The car was severely damaged and towed from the scene. Green and Lafayette counties deputies, Blanchardville Fire Department and EMS responded to the scene.
No injuries were reported in a hit-and-run accident of an unoccupied vehicle in the W2900 block of Main Street, Town of Jefferson, at 8:40 p.m. The offending vehicle fled the scene after hitting a legally parked vehicle owned by Peter A. Buholzer, 70, Juda. Buholzer's vehicle was moderately damaged. The suspect vehicle fled southbound on County S and will likely have damage on the front passenger side of the vehicle. The incident remains under investigation.
Two people reported non life-threatening injuries in a one-vehicle accident in the W1000 block of Wisconsin 59, Town of Albany. Curtis M. McCarthy, 19, Jefferson, was westbound when he lost control of his vehicle due to the icy roadway and slid into the ditch. McCarthy and his passenger Mitchell D. Komorowski, 19, Johnson Creek, sustained injuries but refused medical attention. McCarthy was cited at 9:35 p.m. for driving without insurance. His vehicle was towed from the scene.
On Sunday:
Non life-threatening injuries were reported in a one-vehicle crash on County P at Wolf Road, Town of Cadiz, at 12:54 a.m. Katherine M. Schoger, 27, Winslow, Ill., was northbound on Wolf Road when her vehicle slid through the intersection due to the icy roads and hit a culvert marker. The vehicle then tipped over the end of a large cement culvert and rolled into a fence snapping two steel fence posts. Schoger was uninjured; her passenger Joshua S. Hoffman, 30, Browntown reported an injury but declined treatment. A second passenger, Steven J. Wild, 29, Winslow, was uninjured in the crash. Schoger's vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene.
Dewayne B. Morrison, 47, Brodhead, was uninjured in a deer vs. truck accident that occurred in the W3600 block of County EE, Town of Mt. Pleasant, at 5:03 a.m. Morrison was westbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his truck. The truck sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on County J south of Popular Grove Road, Town of York, at 10:14 a.m. Daniel S. Hudson, 56, Lodi, was eastbound from a private driveway when his vehicle slid into the path of a vehicle driven by Michelle R. Poehler, 38, Westboro. Poehler's vehicle hit Hudson's vehicle and then her vehicle hit a mailbox. Poehler and her six occupants were uninjured and Hudson was uninjured. Both vehicles were moderately damaged and both were towed from the scene.

Flory, 16, Brodhead, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident in the W800 block of Golf Course Road, Town of Decatur, at 10:35 a.m. Flory was southbound when she lost control of her vehicle due to the icy road and her vehicle hit a tree. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene.
Brock J. Hanson, 25, Monroe, and his passenger were uninjured in a one-vehicle rollover accident at the intersection of Greenbush Road and Monroe-Sylvester Road, Town of Sylvester, 10:48 p.m. Hanson was westbound on Greenbush Road when he lost control of his vehicle due to the icy roadway and the vehicle left the roadway. The vehicle traveled over an embankment and rolled over onto its roof, in water. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene.
Jeffrey J. Conway, 55, Monroe, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident on Ladwig Road at Haney Road, Town of Sylvester, at 12:33 p.m. Conway was eastbound on Haney Road turning southbound on Ladwig Road when his vehicle reportedly could not make it up a hill due to the icy roadway. Conway attempted to reverse the vehicle and slid into the east ditch. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene.

Ruegsegger, 29, Monticello, was uninjured in a one-vehicle rollover accident in the N8600 block of Sunnyside Road, Town of York, at 5:10 p.m. Ruegsegger was northbound when her vehicle began to slide due to the icy roadway. The vehicle went into the west ditch, down an embankment and rolled over onto its roof. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene.

Walthers, 43, Brooklyn, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the on Mortenson Road west of Wis. 92, Town of Brooklyn, at 8:38 p.m. Walthers was westbound on Mortenson Road when a deer ran into the roadway and hit her vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was driven from the scene.
Connor A. Schwoob, 18, Ridgeway, was uninjured in a one-vehicle rollover accident in the W9500 block of Wisconsin 39, Town of York, at 10:11 p.m. Schwoob was westbound when a deer ran into the roadway and Schwoob attempted to avoid the deer causing his vehicle to enter the north ditch. The vehicle went down an embankment and rolled several times before coming to rest on its roof. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene.

Bradley J. Burnmeister, 38, Mineral Point, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred on County G, Argyle Township, at 5:03 a.m. The vehicle was driven from the scene.
Travis D. Skattum, 30, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer with his vehicle on County KK, Wayne Township, at 6:53 a.m.

Steven J. Brown, 36, Monroe, was uninjured in a one-vehicle rollover accident on Wisconsin 78, Wiota Township, at 4:17 p.m.
Lisa L. Andrews, 45, Argyle, reported no injuries after her vehicle slid into a ditch due to snow-covered roads on Wis. 81, Darlington Township, at 4:28 p.m.
Kelly L. Johnson, 46, Darlington, was uninjured after her vehicle hit a mailbox on Lange Road, Darlington Township, at 4:29 p.m.
Sheri L. Stewart, 51, Platteville, reported hitting a turkey with her vehicle on Wis. 11, Wayne Township, at 5:02 p.m. Stewart's vehicle received minor damage.
Jeremy A. Kast, 33, Madison, sustained non life-threatening injuries in a one-vehicle accident on County F, Blanchard Township. Kast reported he lost control of his vehicle and it traveled into the ditch. Blanchardville Fire Department and EMS responded to the scene.
Nichole L. Hocking, 35, Shullsburg, was uninjured after her vehicle slid into a bridge on County E, Darlington Township, at 7:50 p.m. The vehicle was driven from the scene.
New Glarus Police
NEW GLARUS - Police responded at 5:37 p.m. Saturday to the 100 block of 6th Avenue for a report of several vehicles stuck on the westbound hill on 6th Avenue.
No injuries were reported in a hit-and-run accident on Wis. 69 at 11:16 a.m. Sunday. The suspect vehicle lost control on Wis. 69, entered the west ditch and hit a legally parked vehicle owned by Sandra L. Bliss, Darien, Ill. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
