BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - A 26-year-old Brodhead man was cited at 10:38 a.m. on Oct. 23 for inattentive driving after a crash in the 900 block of 25th Street. No injuries were reported.



NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - No injuries were reported at 7:27 p.m. Saturday after a hit-and-run crash in the 400 block of 2nd Street. The case remains under investigation.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday:

• No injuries were reported after William A. Martin struck a deer on Wisconsin 78, Town of York.

• No injuries were reported after Carolyn R. Wiler, 64, Monroe, struck a deer in the N4200 block of Wis. 69, Town of Monroe.

• No injuries were reported after Brenda A. Stamstad, 43, Evansville, struck a deer in the W510 block of County W, Town of New Glarus.

On Saturday:

• No injuries were reported after Michael R. Kowsky, 36, Plano, Illinois, struck a deer in the N7500 block of Wis. 69, Town of New Glarus.

• No injuries were reported after Ashton T. Jelle, 21, Belleville, struck a deer in the N9500 block of County U, Town of New Glarus.

• No injuries were reported at 10:52 a.m. after Tyler J. Swedlund, 18, Juda, lost control of his vehicle and entered a ditch, where he struck a junction box at the intersection of Bethel Road and Bloom Lane, Town of Clarno. Swedlund fled the scene, but was later found and cited for failing to notify the police of an accident, driving with a suspended license, driving without vehicle insurance, driving with a damaged windshield and committing a hit-and-run.

On Sunday, no injuries were reported after Derek Vance Bahr, 20, Belleville, struck a deer in the W3600 block of County W, Town of Exeter.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• No injuries were reported at 6:38 p.m. after Barbara J. Jenson, 47, Mineral Point, struck a deer on County N, Town of Blanchard. Her vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• A vehicle in a ditch was reported at 8:25 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

On Saturday:

• A motorcyclist was injured at 3:25 p.m. after James D. Lackas, 37, Platteville, lost control of his bike on loose gravel on County B, Town of Belmont. Lackas was injured when he was ejected and was transported to a local hospital. His motorcycle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 6:34 p.m. after Bryanna L. Knutsen, 22, Winnebago, Illinois, struck a deer on Wis. 78, Town of Blanchard. Her vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 8:29 p.m. after Shane R. Gallagher, 16, Darlington, lost control of his vehicle and entered a ditch, where he rolled his vehicle. Gallagher was cited for failing to maintain control of his vehicle and his vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 9:19 p.m. after Noah M. Stear, 19, Byron, Illinois, struck a deer on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington. His vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 9:46 p.m. after Scott A. Redfearn, 34, Cuba City, struck the vehicle of Heidi M. Duehr, 50, Dubuque, while backing out of a parking stall on County I, Town of Leadmine. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were driven from the scene.

On Sunday:

• No injuries were reported at 6:35 p.m. after Steven J. Freiburger, 64, Hazel Green, struck a deer on County W, Town of Benton. His vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• A driver sustained minor injuries at 7:15 p.m. after David C. Anderson, 45, Mineral Point, entered a ditch and rolled over into a power pole on County O, Town of Kendall. Anderson was transported to a local hospital and his vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• A driver sustained minor injuries at 9:33 p.m. after Xavier A. Kopcio, 18, Pecatonica, Illinois, rolled his vehicle over on County D, Town of Wayne. Kopcio was transported to a local hospital while his vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
