MONROE - On Thursday:

• Shaliko F. Keepers, 28, Albany, was arrested at 2:50 a.m. for failure to maintain control of a vehicle, failure to report a crash to law enforcement and open intoxicants in a vehicle, after she allegedly fled the scene of a one-vehicle crash on Wisconsin 59 near County SS, Town of Sylvester. Keepers told deputies she was eastbound on Wis. 59 when she lost control of the vehicle in a curve causing the vehicle to hit an embankment and overturn. She then fled the crash scene and was located at a residence. She sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash. Her vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene. Charis C. A. Turner, 38, Albany, responded to the crash and picked up Keepers giving her a ride to a residence. Turner was cited for knowingly assisting a person fleeing a crash. Keepers and Turner were released pending court.

• Michael A. Thorp, 58, Monroe, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred on County B west of Wisconsin 69, Clarno Township, at 6:48 p.m. Thorp was westbound on County B when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

• Christine M. Kcraven, 54, Belleville, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the N9000 block of County O, New Glarus Township, at 6:40 p.m. Kcraven was northbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit her vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

DARLINGTON - Gerald Milestone, 78, Shullsburg, reported hitting a deer with his vehicle on County O, Shullsburg Township, at 11:10 a.m. Thursday.
