Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 5 p.m. Tuesday in the N4600 block of Feldt Road in Sylvester township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Robert McCloud Jr., 31, Monroe, experienced mechanical problems which caused it to leave the road. The vehicle went into a ditch and hit several trees. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• A vehicle driven by Matthew G. Marty, 18, Monticello, collided with a deer at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday on County EE east of County F in Mount Pleasant township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday on Wisconsin 126 in Elk Grove township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Barbara C. Blaser, 55, Shullsburg, was traveling south and began slowing down. Blaser put her left arm out of the driver's window to make a left turn. Lindsey A. Lepke, 23, Viroqua, was traveling behind Blaser's vehicle and thought Blaser was signaling her to go around. Lepke pulled out to pass and Blaser began to make a let turn onto Truman Road. Lepke's vehicle hit Blaser's vehicle. The vehicles received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday on County Z in Darlington township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Matthew J. Ubersox, 32, Darlington, hit an unmarked wire that was put across the road to create a cattle crossing. The vehicle received moderate damage.
