MONROE - Non-life-threatening injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash on Wisconsin 69 at Lake Avenue, Town of Mt. Pleasant, at 9:23 a.m. Wednesday. Julie A. Erickson, 58, Monticello, was stopped at a stop sign on Lake Avenue and then attempted to merge onto Wis. 69 to make a left turn. Her vehicle was hit by a northbound vehicle driven by Bruce A. Klosterman, 52, rural Monticello. Both drivers sustained injuries. Erickson declined transport, but Klosterman was transported via EMS for treatment of his injuries. Both vehicles were severely damaged and were towed from the scene. Erickson was cited for failure to yield right-of-way from a stop sign, driving without a valid license and driving without insurance. Deputies, Monticello police, Monticello First Response and New Glarus EMS all responded to the crash.

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:
Allison M. McLane, 20, Elizabeth, Ill., was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident on U.S. 151, Belmont Township, at 2:15 p.m. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage.
Kendra L. Haug, 22, Apple River, Ill., sustained non-life-threatening injuries as the result of a one-vehicle crash on Wis. 23, Willow Springs Township, at 6:09 p.m. Haug was southbound when she reportedly reached for an item inside her vehicle and lost control. The 1999 Oldsmobile she was driving crossed the roadway and drove into the ditch where it hit a fence. Haug was transported via EMS to Upland Hills Hospital in Dodgeville for treatment of her injuries. Her vehicle was severely damaged and was towed from the scene. Deputies and the Darlington Fire Department also assisted on scene.
