Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Anthony R. Anderson, 18, Monticello, was arrested for drunken driving, failure to maintain control of a vehicle and underage drinking following a one-vehicle accident at about 1:45 p.m. Sunday in the W5700 block of County C. Deputies report his vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, left the road and overturned. Anderson was taken to Monroe Clinic by private vehicle. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed. He was released pending court.

• Keith J. Schlafli, 21, Argyle, was arrested for second-offense drunken driving following a report of a vehicle in a ditch at about 2:45 a.m. Sunday in the N4000 block of Skinner Hollow Road in Jordan township. He was released pending court.

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 5:45 a.m. Saturday on Wisconsin 81 in Darlington township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Laura A. Huntington, 22, Argyle, was negotiating a curve when she looked at something in her vehicle. The vehicle went onto the shoulder of the road. Huntington overcorrected and the vehicle skidded across the road, went into a ditch and hit a fence. Huntington was transported to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County by Rural Medical Ambulance. She was cited for inattentive driving. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed. Darlington Fire Department and Darlington Police Department assisted at the scene.

• One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7:15 p.m. Sunday in Benton. Deputies report a parked vehicle owned by Myra Majerus was knocked into gear by an 18-month-old child. The vehicle rolled down the driveway and hit a tree. A 3-year-old male in the vehicle sustained injuries. The vehicle received minor damage.

• Daniel A. Lyne, 41, Benton, was arrested for recklessly endangering safety, drunken driving and disorderly conduct following a two-vehicle accident at about 1 a.m. Sunday. Deputies report his vehicle hit a parked vehicle.

• A vehicle driven by Marlene J. Herbst, 54, Gratiot, hit a deer at about 9:15 p.m. Friday on Wisconsin 78 in Gratiot township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Krytina L. Kisting, 17, Benton, was hit by a deer at about 2:45 a.m. Saturday on Wisconsin 11 in Shullsburg township.
