MONROE - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 3th Avenue and 6th Street at 3:40 p.m. Friday, March 2, when Bethel M. Matysik, 52, Big Bend, collided with Richard G. Wescott, 80, Monroe. Both vehicles were moderately damaged.

MONROE - No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle crash at 2:07 p.m. Friday, March 2, after Kenneth R. Berthoud, 50, New Glarus, slid through the intersection of Blue Vista Lane and Pioneer Road in the Town of New Glarus when he was unable to stop at a stop sign. He collided with a tree and a fence. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

- No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash in the N2400 block of Cadiz Springs Road in the Town of Cadiz at 3:22 p.m. Friday, March 2, after Kari E. Hicks, 25, Monroe, tried to avoid colliding with a vehicle in the opposing lane driven left-of-center by David Johnson, 69, Monroe. The drivers sideswiped each other. The vehicles were moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

- No injuries were reported at 3:56 p.m. Friday, March 2, after Jason T. Steiner, 30, Browntown, lost control on the snow-covered road in the W8300 block of County P in the Town of Cadiz and collided with a Green County Highway Department snowplow operated by John A. Schumacher, 42, Monroe. Schumacher attempted to avoid the collision by veering into the ditch, but Steiner still hit the plow blade. Both vehicles were moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

- No injuries were reported at 5:08 p.m. Friday, March 2, after Joseph J. Aguilar, 22, Brodhead, lost control of his vehicle in the W400 block of County F in the Town of Decatur, veered into the ditch and hit a traffic sign and tree. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene.

- Deputies responded to 10 vehicles stuck in ditches due to snow-covered, slippery roads between 12:51 and 11 p.m. Friday, March 2. No injuries or vehicle damages were reported in these ten cases.

- Mychael K. Schultz, 21, Monticello, was injured but declined medical treatment after deputies and Monticello Police responded at 2:26 a.m. Saturday, March 3, to a one-vehicle accident on County CC north of Nye Road in the Town of Exeter. Schultz lost control after driving through a deep snowdrift, then veered into a ditch and collided with a woodpile and a fence. The vehicle sustained moderate rear driver's side damage and was towed from the scene.

- Carrie L. Johnson, 42, of rural Argyle, was injured but declined medical treatment after deputies responded at 6:16 a.m. Saturday, March 3, to a one-vehicle rollover in the N7200 block of County J in the Town of Adams. Johnson was driving north on County J, north of Quarry Road, when she lost control on the snow-covered road and the vehicle overturned in the ditch onto the passenger's side. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene.

- The Monroe Fire Department extricated Cynthia M. Honts, 17, Monroe, and her passengers out of a vehicle at 9:19 a.m. Saturday, March 3, after deputies responded to a crash in the N3400 block of Aebly Road in the Town of Monroe. Honts was headed northbound when she drove through a snowdrift and the vehicle started to fishtail and then overturned onto its top in a ditch. No injuries were reported. Monroe EMS assisted at the scene. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene.
