Traffic Accidents: March 29, 2016

BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - On March 20, an 18-year-old Albany male was arrested at 12:06 p.m. for committing a hit-and-run in the 1300 block of 17th Street.

On March 22, a traffic crash was reported at 5:40 p.m. on private property in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Friday, a hit-and-run crash occurred at 7:55 a.m. in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue. A 26-year-old Brodhead man admitted Monday to being responsible for the crash and was charged with committing a hit-and-run and driving while intoxicated.

On Saturday, a 35-year-old Brodhead man was arrested at 10 p.m. for committing a hit-and-run against an unoccupied vehicle and for driving while intoxicated (second offense) in the 1100 block of West 2nd Avenue.



NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - On Thursday, no injuries were reported at 6:18 p.m. after a truck lost its left-rear tire in the 1400 block of Wisconsin 69. The tire rolled into a Culver's parking lot and struck a vehicle in the drive-thru lane. The vehicle struck by the tire sustained minor damage. The truck sustained no damage.

On Sunday, a report was made at 12:16 a.m. about a crash that had taken place on Saturday in the 1500 block of Wis. 69.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday, no injuries were reported after Barbara A. Henningsen, 51, Albany, struck an animal on Wis. 59, Town of Sylvester.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• No injuries were reported at 1:30 a.m. after Kimberly N. Pink, 20, Argyle, struck a deer on Wis. 81, Town of Lamont. Pink's vehicle sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported at 10:16 p.m. after a two-vehicle accident on East South Street in South Wayne. Jessica C. Zaring, 30, Poynette, struck the vehicle of Rachel M. Ritschard, 18, South Wayne, who was backing out of a driveway. Both vehicles sustained minor damage. Ritschard was cited for unsafe backing.

On Sunday, a driver sustained minor injuries at 10:55 p.m. after Roxann M. Bellerjeau, 25, Darlington, struck a telephone pole on County F, Town of Darlington. Bellerjeau was cited for driving while intoxicated (second offense). Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
