DARLINGTON - On Wednesday, March 19:

• A deputy investigated a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Main Street, Benton at 9:34 a.m. No injuries were reported.

• Shannon N. Hentrich, 35, Mineral Point, was cited at 9:46 a.m. for speeding on U.S. 151, Belmont Township.

• Melanie A. Boates, 35, Cedar Park, Texas, was cited at 2:04 p.m. for speeding on Wis. 11, Shullsburg Township.

On Thursday, March 20:

• A deputy assisted the Green County Sheriff's Department at 6:43 a.m. by checking the county line area of Wis. 11 attempting to locate a vehicle in the ditch. No vehicle was located.

• A deputy responded at 6:45 a.m. to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Wis. 126, Belmont Township. No vehicles were located.

• Todd F. Wirtz, 55, Blanchardville, was uninjured in a vehicle vs. deer accident on Wis. 78, Argyle Township at 1:26 p.m. Wirtz's vehicle sustained moderate damage.

• Deputies responded at 6:29 p.m. to County E, Darlington Township, for a complaint of an erratic driver. The vehicle was not located.
