BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - A traffic crash was reported at 4:18 p.m. Thursday after a vehicle backed into another vehicle near a driveway in the 600 block of East 5th Avenue. The incident remains under investigation.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Saturday, no injuries were reported at 2:40 p.m. after Jessica C. Pritchard, 31, struck a deer on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.



MONROE POLICE

MONROE - On Friday:

• No injuries were reported at 8:53 a.m. after Florian R. Handel, 85, Monroe, struck a parked vehicle in the 1100 block of 10th Street. Handel was cited for unsafe lane deviations.

• Minor injuries were reported at 1:35 p.m. after a three-vehicle accident at the intersection of Wisconsin 69 and 8th Street. Anna E. Meyers, 85, Lena, struck a vehicle at the intersection, which struck a third vehicle. Two occupants of the other vehicles were transported to the Monroe Clinic. Meyers was cited for inattentive driving.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday:

• A driver was injured at 3:12 p.m. after Derek J. R. Blum, 17, Monroe, lost control of his vehicle and overturned in the W5000 block of County C, Town of Washington. Blum was transported to a local hospital. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported after Gary L. Hansen, 71, Madison, struck a deer in the N9600 block of Wis. 69.

On Saturday, no injuries were reported at 6 a.m. after Lexie M. Eisch, 17, Albany, lost control of her vehicle and entered a ditch, striking an embankment on Wis. 59, Town of Sylvester. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene.
