MONROE - One person was injured in a car versus deer accident at about 8:45 a.m. Saturday on Wisconsin 69 south of Highland Drive in New Glarus township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Kathleen M. Poster Bettner, 25, Forreston, Ill., collided with a deer, which then went through the windshield. A passenger in the vehicle, Patrick D. Bettner, 33, Forreston, Ill., sustained injuries and was taken to Monroe Clinic. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 6 a.m. Friday on Beebe Road in Benton township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Phyllis J. Lutes, 63, Benton, left the road due to icy road conditions, went into a ditch and hit a fence. The vehicle received moderate damages.
