Monroe Police

MONROE - David M. Bance, 26, Monroe, and a 34-year-old man from Winslow, Ill., received minor injuries following a two-vehicle crash at 3:50 p.m. Friday on 9th Avenue at 16th Street. Both declined immediate medical attention. Bance was cited for failure to yield.



NEW GLARUS Police

NEW GLARUS - Chantel R. Lynch, New Glarus, backed into a parked car belonging to Earnest Ruegsegger, Monticello, at 5:02 p.m. June 22 in the 700 block of 14th Avenue. No injuries were reported.

• Kevin J. Elmer, 44, Oregon, reported backing into a light pole at 5:23 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of 5th Avenue. No injuries were reported.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Friday:

• Stephen E. Seleski, 59, Kenosha, and Carrie M. Fezzy, 47, West Allis, were injured and transported to the hospital following a motorcycle crash at 1:06 p.m. in the W6500 block of Patterson Road in the Town of Clarno. Seleski reportedly laid the motorcycle down and both were ejected. They were not wearing helmets. The motorcycle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene.

• Kelly M. Wellnitz, 28, Brodhead, reported hitting a deer at 9:14 p.m. in the W3500 block of Wisconsin 11 in the Town of Sylvester. No injuries were reported. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

On Saturday:

• William J. Thompson, 56, Browntown, reported hitting a deer at 4:55 a.m. in the W9600 block of County MM in the Town of Jordan. No injuries were reported. The vehicle sustained minor damage and Thompson drove it from the scene.

• Dana L. Meuller, 44, Albany, reported hitting a deer at 2:17 p.m. on Wis. 59 at Weiss Lane in the Town of Monroe. No injuries were reported. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

On Sunday:

• Theresa M. Schlack, 62, Oshkosh, was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries following a motorcycle crash at 12:41 p.m. in the W8900 block of Wis. 11 in the Town of Cadiz. She reportedly lost control and entered a ditch. The motorcycle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• Laura K.M. Lounsbury, 42, Belleville, backed into a parked car owned by Thomas K. Penniston, 52, New Glarus at 3:34 p.m. in the W4900 block of Ward Creek Lane in the Town of New Glarus. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON -

• Pamela A. Gould, 61, Darlington, reported hitting a deer Thursday on County F in the Town of Fayette.

On Sunday:

• Laura J. Miller, 38, Warrens, received minor injuries following an all-terrain vehicle rollover crash at 12:10 p.m. on the Cheese Country Trail in the Town of Wayne. The front wheel of the ATV reportedly hit a soft spot on the trail, pulling it off the trail and down an embankment. Rural Medical Ambulance, Gratiot First Response and the Gratiot Fire Department assisted.

• Jean A. Geiger, 61, Monroe, reported hitting a deer at 9:55 p.m. on Wis. 81 in the Town of Lamont.
