MONROE - Jesse M. Hirsch, 32, Hollandale, reported no injuries from a deer vs. vehicle collision on County J south of Kluenzi Lane in York Township at 5:11 a.m. Friday, May 31. The vehicle sustained moderate damage to the driver's side door and was driven from the scene.
• Two Monroe teenagers were injured late Friday, May 31, in an accident in Jordan Township that remains under investigation. The driver, Madeline M. Schluesche, 16, and her passenger Alyssa L. Engerman, 17, were transported by EMS for treatment of their injuries from the crash at 10:39 p.m. in the W8100 block of Wisconsin 81. Schluesche was eastbound when the vehicle went onto the gravel shoulder. She lost control, and the vehicle overturned in the ditch, coming to a stop on its roof. She and Engerman were wearing seatbelts. The vehicle sustained severe overall damage and was towed.
