Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 1 p.m. Saturday on Legler Valley Road near Klitzke Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Bryce Laube, 16, New Glarus, swerved to avoid a vehicle driven by Gregory Knoke, 63, Verona. Laube attempted to swerve back onto the road and the vehicle slid sideways and overturned. His vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 1:45 p.m. Monday in the Albany Police Department parking lot. Deputies report a squad car driven by Albany Police Chief Robert J. Levitt, 58, Brodhead, backed into a vehicle driven by Cindy K. Mauerman, 49, Albany. The squad car received minor damage. Mauerman's vehicle received moderate damage.

• A Green County Sheriff's Department squad car driven by Sgt. Robert A. Werren, 47, Browntown, hit a deer at about 1 a.m. Monday in the N3600 block of Wisconsin 69. The vehicle received minor damage.

• A vehicle driven by John A. Mueller, 45, Hollandale, hit a raccoon at about 2 p.m. Monday in the W9600 block of Wis. 39. The vehicle received moderate damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Michael J. Boroczk, 16, New Glarus, was cited for violating graduated driver's license restrictions following a report of a vehicle in a ditch around 12:15 a.m. Monday on South Lake Road in Argyle township.

• A vehicle driven by Katie R. Kieffer, 17, Darlington, hit a deer at about 9:15 p.m. Monday on Wis. 81 in Darlington township.

• A vehicle driven by William R. Quackenbush, 62, Beloit, hit a horse at about 9:30 p.m. Monday on Trotter Road in Wiota township. The vehicle received minor damage.
