Monroe Police

MONROE - One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 2:15 p.m. Saturday at 9th Street and 16th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Robin L. Lyle, 42, Monroe, hit a vehicle driven by Patricia A. Miller, 51, Juda. One driver complained on minor injuries but declined medical attention. No further information was available.

• One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 6:15 a.m. Monday in the 800 block of 20th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Gina L. Indra, 43, Monroe, left the road and hit a tree. She sustained minor injuries. She was cited for inattentive driving. The vehicle received extensive damage.

• No one was injured in a plane accident at about 7 p.m. Friday at the Monroe Airport. Police report a plane operated by Kristopher P. Bjoin, 32, Janesville, veered off a runway. The plane received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 12:15 p.m. Friday in the 2200 block of 6th Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Chad M. Gombosi, 16, Monroe, hit a utility pole. Gombosi was cited for inattentive driving. The vehicle received moderate damage.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 10:15 p.m. Saturday on Elmer Road west of Wisconsin 104. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Andrew M. Pulver, 21, Brooklyn, left the road, rolled and came to rest in a field. Pulver told deputies he was trying to text on his phone at the time of the crash. He sustained injuries but declined medical treatment. He was arrested for driving under the influence and failure to maintain control of a vehicle. He was released pending court. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• One person was injured in a motorcycle accident at about 3:15 p.m. Saturday on County F near Tin Can Road. Deputies report a motorcycle driven by Terry L. Heck, 41, Elkorn, failed to negotiate a curve, left the road, went into a ditch, and flipped onto its side, dragging Heck into the ditch. He was taken to the Monroe Clinic by Albany Emergency Medical Service. The motorcycle received moderate damage and was towed.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7:45 a.m. Friday in the W4800 block of Wis. 59. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Gavin F. Ruef, 16, Albany, left the road, hit a fence and a tree. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• No one was injured in a hit-and-run accident reported at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of 11th Street. Deputies report a vehicle owned by Sara K. Moyer-Disch, 20, Belleville, was hit by another vehicle. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the N4300 block of County E. Deputies report a vehicle driven by William D. Pryce, 85, Monroe, backed into a sheriff's department squad car. The vehicles received minor damage.

• A vehicle driven by Victoria L. Ruchti, 48, Albany, collided with a deer at about 9:15 p.m. Saturday on the exit ramp of Wis. 11/81 west of Wis. 69. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Donald W. Brooker, 81, South Wayne, collided with a deer at about 9:15 p.m. Saturday in the W8900 block of Wis. 11. The vehicle received minor damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Two people were injured in an all-terrain vehicle accident at about 4:30 p.m. Monday on the Cheese Country Trail in Gratiot township. Deputies report an ATV carrying Marcelline J. Zilske, 61, and Donald R. Zilske, 64, both of Burlington, rolled. They traveled to Monroe and sought treatment at the Monroe Clinic.

• A vehicle driven by Mark A. Burris, 50, Shullsburg, hit a deer at about midnight Thursday on County O in Shullsburg township.

• A vehicle driven by Kevin K. King, 54, Mineral Point, hit a deer at about 9:15 p.m. Saturday on County F in Fayette township.
