MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 4:15 p.m. Saturday in the 2400 block of 14th Avenue. Police report Kathryn F. Deprez, 67, Monroe, was reaching inside her vehicle when it began to roll backward, running over her leg. She was taken to the Monroe Clinic.
No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 1:45 p.m. Friday at 9th Street and 25th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Robert W. Cooley, 72, Mount Hope, collided with a vehicle driven by Harold T. Shager, 86, Monroe. Cooley was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign.
New Glarus Police
NEW GLARUS - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 10 p.m. Saturday on Wisconsin 69 near 6th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Michael V. Kammes III, 23, Argyle, left the road, hit a road sign and then a culvert after Kammes fell asleep. He was cited for driving without insurance. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a dirt bike accident at about 1 p.m. Sunday on the Cheese Country Trail. Deputies report Bruce J. Pierce, 62, Rockford, lost control of his dirt bike. He was taken by Rural Medical Ambulance to the Monroe Clinic.
No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 1 p.m. Friday on Water Street in Shullsburg. Police report a semitrailer driven by Joshua J. Blackbourn, 24, Shullsburg, was making a right turn onto Water Street and hit a parked vehicle owned by Cherre Uehling, Shullsburg. Uehling's vehicle received extensive damage. The semi received minor damage.
No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 11 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 23 in Willow Springs township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Wendy M. Lucas, 44, Mineral Point, left the road and went into a ditch. She left the scene of the accident. She was located at a residence in Mineral Point. She was cited for failure to have her vehicle under control, failure to notify police of an accident and hit and run. Her vehicle received moderate damage.
A vehicle driven by Jeffrey R. Schuetz, 44, Darlington, hit a deer at about 2:30 a.m. Friday on County D in Wiota township.
