Monroe Police

MONROE - Freeman D. Hanson, 84, Monroe, was uninjured after his vehicle hit an Alliant Energy utility pole in the 1000 block of 21st Street. Hanson's vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene. He was cited at 1:37 p.m. Tuesday for inattentive driving.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Eric J. Ball, 43, Brodhead, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred on Amidon Road west of Benton Road, Town of Brooklyn, at 10:33 p.m. Tuesday. Ball was eastbound on Amidon Road when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday:

• Theodore Anthony Bauer III, 36, South Wayne, was arrested at 12:35 p.m. for resisting an officer, abuse of a hazardous substance and bail jumping after deputies responded to a vehicle in the ditch on Andrews Road, Wayne Township. Bauer was jailed pending court.

• Austin L. Vater, 21, Watertown, reported hitting a deer on U.S. 151, Belmont Township, at 9:43 p.m.
