MONROE - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 11:45 a.m. Wednesday in the W6100 block of Pioneer Road in the Town of New Glarus. Deputies reported a vehicle crashed into a fence, then left the scene. The vehicle was located in the Village of New Glarus, and the driver was identified as Jessica B. Benton, 17, New Glarus. The vehicle received minor damage. Benton was cited for failure to maintain control and released pending court.

DARLINGTON - Deputies responded at about 11:15 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a traffic accident that occurred earlier and may be linked to a previous damage report on County N in Wayne township. The incident remains under investigation.
• Crystal Metcalf, 27, Darlington, reported hitting a beef steer at about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday on Wisconsin 23 in Shullsburg township. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
