Monroe Police

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday at 6th Street and 26th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Garrett J. Fox, 17, Monroe, hit a vehicle driven by Donald R. Miller, 57, Grayslake, Ill. Fox was cited for inattentive driving. The vehicles received extensive damages and were towed.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 9:45 p.m. Sunday on Wisconsin 69. Police report a vehicle driven by Carol J. Bayrhoffer, 78, Monticello, left the road and went into a ditch after Bayrhoffer misjudged a business driveway. The vehicle received minor damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 10:30 a.m. Friday at 10th Avenue and Durst Road. Police report a vehicle owned by Wayne L. Klosterman was parked in his driveway when it popped out of gear, rolled backward and hit a light pole owned by the village. The truck and pole received extensive damage. The New Glarus Public Works Department assisted at the scene.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 3:15 p.m. Sunday in the W7500 block of Franklin Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Abbie N. Zimmerman, 19, Browntown, failed to yield the right of way as she entered a driveway and was hit by a vehicle driven by Dennis O. Cook, 59, Browntown. Zimmerman and Cook were taken to Monroe Clinic for injuries. Cook was arrested for fourth-offense drunken driving, open intoxicants in a vehicle and disorderly conduct. He was jailed. Zimmerman was cited for failure to yield the right of way and for failure to wear a seatbelt. She was released pending court.

• A vehicle driven by Jerrald D. Figi, 36, Browntown, collided with a deer at about 10 p.m. Sunday on County N north of Buehler Road. The vehicle received minor damage.

• A vehicle driven by Brittany K. Hinzpeter, 17, Albany, collided with a coyote at about 12:45 a.m. Sunday on County F south of Decatur Road. The vehicle received moderate damage.
