MONROE POLICE
MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 12:45 p.m. Thursday at 8th Avenue and 8th Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Rebecca L. Monte, 33, Monroe, hit a vehicle driven by Susan M. Obert, 49, Monroe. Monte was cited for inattentive driving. The vehicles received minor damage.

MONROE - Thomas A. Aeberhard, 49, Monticello, was arrested for second-offense drunken driving, failure to maintain control of a vehicle and failure to notify police of an accident following a one-vehicle crash at about 4:30 a.m. Thursday on South Monroe Street in Monticello. Deputies report his vehicle left the road and hit a power pole. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.
• A vehicle driven by Jacob D. Steadman, 24, Brodhead, collided with a deer at about 11:15 p.m. Wednesday in the W800 block of Stateline Road in Spring Grove township. The vehicle received moderate damage.
LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF
DARLINGTON - Shane D. Johnson, 33, Argyle, was arrested for drunken driving and failure to control a vehicle following a one-vehicle accident at about 10:15 p.m. Thursday on County G in Argyle township. Deputies report his vehicle left the road, rolled and came to rest against a power pole. Johnson was not injured. The Argyle Police Department and Argyle Fire Department responded to the scene.
