MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 5:15 p.m. Tuesday on Decatur Road west of Park Road in Decatur township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Ian R. Besl, 16, Waterloo, failed to negotiate a curve, went into a ditch, hit an embankment and overturned. Besl sustained injuries but declined medical treatment. He was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle and released pending court. His vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.
