Green County SheriffMONROE - Gene A. Rood II, 28, South Wayne, was transported to medical treatment for injuries sustained in a one-vehicle crash reported at 8:53 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18 in the W7600 block of County B in the Town of Cadiz. Deputies, Monroe EMS and the Browntown Fire Department responded to the scene. Rood reportedly lost control on the icy road, and his vehicle veered into the ditch, hit an embankment, rolled and came to a rest on the driver's side.
